Shapes are computed by code from random numbers (seeds), not by an AI image model. Generating replaces the previous generated elements, except pinned ones and uploaded SVGs, and rearranges the tile. Changing the palette recolors the current set with the same shapes. Read the rules of your target platform before uploading.

Recolors all motifs at once without touching your original files. "Match by lightness" keeps the light and dark relationships between colors. Choose "Use original colors" to restore.

Presets are saved as a .somi.json file with your settings, layout, and (optionally) motifs. Send it to another device and press Open preset. If motifs are not included, only style and settings are loaded.

Works on the design now on the canvas. Each result is checked for seamless edges and replaced automatically if it fails. Hand-edited designs keep their layout, and only colors, sizes, and rotation change. Islamic patterns adjust the canvas height to keep seams exact, unless you lock the canvas size.

Bleed adds a margin that continues the pattern past the tile edge, so vector tiles can overlap without hairline gaps. The file becomes larger than the tile. Keep it off for stock uploads, because some platforms reject artwork outside the artboard.
The EPS is packed in a .zip together with a JPG preview of the same name, a format often required by microstock sites. The EPS uses PostScript Level 2: full vector, no transparency. The JPG is exported at the exact canvas size in pixels. On phones, canvases above about 4000 × 4000 px may fail to export as JPG.
